Algiers Tramway
The Algiers tramway connects the Ruisseau area, near Les Fusillés, to Dergana Centre in the east of the capital.
It serves, in particular, Hussein Dey, Caroubier, El Harrach, Mohammadia, Les Pins Maritimes, Bab Ezzouar, the Houari Boumédiène University of Science and Technology, Bordj El Kiffan, Bordj El Bahri and Dergana.
The Les Fusillés station provides a connection to the Algiers metro. The tram is therefore particularly useful for travelling between the wider city centre, the eastern districts, the university areas and Bab Ezzouar.

Oran Tramway
The Oran tramway runs from Es Sénia to Sidi Maarouf. The line stretches for approximately 18.7 kilometres and has 32 stations.
It serves, in particular, the city centre, the SNTF railway station, the University of Oran, Place Mokrani and several major neighbourhoods in the metropolitan area.
The tramway makes it easier to travel between Es Sénia, the centre of Oran and the city’s residential, university and commercial areas.

Constantine Tramway
The Constantine tramway connects the Ben Abdelmalek Ramdane area to the Zouaghi multimodal station, serving the university areas and several new urban districts.
The network is particularly useful for students, workers and residents travelling between the centre of Constantine, Zouaghi and the areas towards Ali Mendjeli.
SETRAM currently operates a network of around 18 kilometres comprising 21 stations.

Sidi Bel Abbès Tramway
Launched in July 2017, the Sidi Bel Abbès tramway stretches for approximately 14 kilometres and has 22 stations.
It serves, in particular, the university campus, the coach stations, the law faculty, the hospital and several urban and outlying neighbourhoods.
The tramway connects the main business and educational areas whilst reducing the need to use cars or taxis for daily journeys.

Ouargla Tramway
The Ouargla tramway runs from Sid Rouhou to Chenine Kadour over a route of approximately 9.6 kilometres.
It serves the city centre, several residential neighbourhoods, university campuses, the new urban area and the new coach station.

Sétif Tramway
Launched on 8 May 2018, the Sétif tramway runs through the city from east to west.
The line is approximately 15 kilometres long and comprises 26 stations. It serves the city centre, the university campuses, the 8 May 1945 Stadium and several neighbourhoods to the east of Sétif.
The tram is particularly convenient for travelling to universities, shops and key public facilities.

Mostaganem Tramway
The Mostaganem tramway is organised around two main routes:
- Kharrouba ↔ Salamandre: this route serves, in particular, the university campuses, the SNTF railway station, the city centre, Salamandre and the administrative district;
- SNTF railway station ↔ new coach station: this line facilitates connections between the railway station and the coach station.
The network makes it easier to travel between the university districts, the city centre, the stations and the tourist area of Salamandre.

Can you reach an airport by tram in Algeria?
Algeria’s main airports do not currently have a direct tram service in operation.
Algiers Houari-Boumédiène Airport
The Algiers tram does not provide a direct service to Houari-Boumédiène International Airport.
Passengers can take a taxi, a private hire vehicle, a bus or a shuttle, or arrange a connection from the Bab Ezzouar area. It is advisable to allow plenty of time before your flight departs.
Oran Ahmed-Ben-Bella Airport
The Oran tram does not run directly to Ahmed-Ben-Bella Airport.
The line serves Es Sénia, but the journey to the terminal must be completed by taxi, private hire car, bus or a locally available shuttle bus.
Constantine Mohamed-Boudiaf Airport
The Constantine tram does not run directly to Mohamed-Boudiaf Airport.
To get to or from the airport, travellers must use a taxi, private hire vehicle, bus or other available transport service.

Do you need to validate your ticket on the tram?
Every passenger must hold a valid ticket for the entire duration of their journey.
